Congress’ New Tax Overhaul

Share

The more we hear and read about the new tax plan, the more confused we become, it seems.

The only way we, the people, will find out for sure is when we file our first income tax return following the date the law becomes effective.

However, knowing the record of the President and former governor of California, I find it difficult to believe Reagan would voluntarily sign anything that would stand to benefit the poor and lower middle classes at the expense of the rich. That makes about as much sense as telling me he plans to send aid to the present government of Nicaragua along with a heartfelt apology.

I’m expecting the worst as far as this new tax plan goes.
