Bank of America will auction 23 foreclosed farms worth an estimated $6.7 million at auctions in Fresno and Sacramento. The 14 San Joaquin Valley parcels range in size from a 312-acre farm in Kern County to a 20-acre plot in Merced County. Nine farms are in the Sacramento Valley and northern San Joaquin Valley. More of the almost 200 properties the bank holds may be auctioned later, said bank spokesman Don Kington, depending on the outcome of the pilot auction.
