Talks with a federal mediator resumed in the strike against five major California wineries after Modesto Superior Court Judge Norman S. Reid modified a temporary restraining order restricting picketing. The order had been requested by employers because of rock-throwing incidents outside the Bronco Winery at Ceres. The struck wineries are Bronco, Christian Brothers, Franzia, Vie-Del and Lamont. A sixth winery, Sierra Wine Corp., has also been struck, but it is not a member of the Winery Employers Assn.
