Westwood : Donations Hit Record at UCLA
UCLA received an unprecedented $79.8 million in private gifts and grants for the 1985-86 fiscal year, according to Chancellor Charles Young.
The UCLA Office of Gifts and Endowments has reported that private funding increased $2.5 million over 1984-85.
The school ranks among top public and private universities in private support. In the last 10 years, UCLA has led the other University of California campuses in annual private donations.
