Following is a list of recent terrorist attacks aimed at Jewish communities outside Israel:

--July 22, 1985. Bombings at Scandinavia’s oldest synagogue and a Northwest Orient Airlines office in Copenhagen wound 27 people.

--March 29, 1985. Eighteen people are injured in a bombing at a Paris theater during a Jewish film festival.

--Jan. 3, 1984. Synagogues in Buenos Aires and Rosario in Argentina are firebombed, causing damage but no injuries.

--Aug. 7, 1983. Mines explode in a Johannesburg, South Africa, synagogue. No one is injured.

--Oct. 9, 1982. A 2-year-old boy is killed and 34 people are injured in an attack on Rome’s main synagogue.

--Aug. 9, 1982. Terrorists kill 6 and injure 21 in attack on Goldenberg’s restaurant in Jewish quarter of Paris.

--Oct. 20, 1981. Three people are killed and 106 are injured when a truck bomb explodes outside a synagogue in Anvers, Belgium.

--Aug. 29, 1981. Two Arab terrorists armed with machine pistols and hand grenades attack a Vienna synagogue, killing two people and wounding about 20.

--Oct. 3, 1980. A bomb explodes outside the Jewish Liberal Synagogue in Paris, killing four people and wounding nine.
