2-Story Homes Open Today in Laguna Niguel
Sonterra, a development of 65 four-bedroom, single-family houses by A-M Co., Newport Beach, opens today in Laguna Niguel with a first phase of 30 houses priced from $220,000 to $270,000.
The two-story houses, available in four floor plans with 2,140 to 2,690 square feet, were designed by Aram Bassenian & Associates, Newport Beach, in a Mediterranean style. They feature mission tile roofs, central air conditioning, two- or three-car attached garages and rear- and side-yard fencing.
Other features include 2 1/2 or 3 baths, a bonus room in one plan, raised panel interior doors, wood-burning fireplaces and interior laundry rooms.
The development is within the 600-acre Rancho Niguel master-planned community, a joint venture of the Buie Corp. and Home Capital Development Group, a unit of Home Savings & Loan Assn.
The monthly homeowners association fee will be about $120 to $150, and first move-ins are scheduled to begin in December. Four models decorated by Saddleback Interiors of Corona del Mar are open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at 28672 Rancho Maralena, reached from the Crown Valley Parkway exit of the San Diego (5) Freeway.
