Impure Water Kills 15

COLOMBO, Sri Lanka — Inadequately treated water from a storage tank has killed 15 people and sent at least 100 to hospitals in the last 10 days near the coastal town of Puttalam, health officials said Sunday. Water-borne epidemics of diarrhea claim about 6,000 lives in Sri Lanka every year.
