Attorneys for the three--William Herbert, Nelson Bunker and Lamar Hunt--filed a motion with the U.S. 5th Circuit Court of Appeals in New Orleans asking that a judge’s order to transfer bankruptcy cases to Dallas from New Orleans be blocked. The motion seeks to overturn an order issued last week by U.S. District Judge Barefoot Sanders ordering the Hunts’ Placid Oil Co., one subsidiary and the William Herbert Hunt personal estate trust to file a motion to transfer bankruptcy petitions to U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Dallas.
