Anti-Cult Course Aimed at Jewish Teen-Agers

NEW YORK —
The Union of American Hebrew Congregations, representing the Reform wing of Judaism, has issued a 17-unit course designed to help Jewish teen-agers say “no” to pressures of religious cults.
Among other things, the material suggests means of evaluating “pie-in-the-sky promises,” analyzing recruitment tactics and avoiding “entrapment.”
