If fish had housing magazines, that might be the ad for a forthcoming “offshore condo” planned for sea life in the Bolsa Chica area.
The state Department of Fish and Game said it is planning an artificial reef to be placed in the ocean between Huntington Beach and Seal Beach. Old concrete rubble would be situated to form “condos” for fish to live and multiply in.
The department hopes to start the artificial reef this fall.
