Bennett’s Report Card
Bennett is wrong when he says principals should be chosen from non-teaching professions.
Principals should serve on a rotating basis for a limited tenure (three to five years?) chosen from the pool of teachers already in the school who are willing and qualified.
This would create a teaching democracy including equality of salaries and enable teachers and principals to understand each others’ problems.
