Oil Tanker Runs Aground Off Virginia’s Coastline

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. —
A tanker carrying 300,000 barrels of diesel fuel and heating oil ran aground in the Atlantic Ocean off the Virginia coast, the Coast Guard said Tuesday. A spokesman said that no oil had leaked from the 600-foot Exxon Princeton, which ran aground Monday night, and that the vessel would be refloated after its load was lightened.
