FBI Seizes Suspect in $475,000 Holdup
A man suspected of holding up a New York City armored car company last year and escaping with more than $475,000 in cash was arrested Wednesday in downtown Los Angeles, the FBI said.
Bernard J. Sebastian, 25, was taken into custody at about 3:30 p.m. by FBI agents, spokesman Jim Neilson said, but he released no details of the arrest.
Neilson said Sebastian, a resident of Queens, was wanted on a warrant issued by a federal court in New York in an Aug. 24, 1985, robbery in which $475,137 in cash was stolen from the Loomis Armored Car Co.
