Japanese All Business, Even in Swimming Pool
One reason the Japanese are outselling the rest of the world may be that they are always prepared.
A British businessman struck up a conversation with a Japanese counterpart and was getting along swimmingly in the pool of a hotel in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Suddenly, the Japanese reached into a pocket of his bathing trunks and handed over a waterproof business card, the businessman, C.M. Fogg, wrote in a letter to the Times of London published Friday.
“What chance have we got against such competition?” he said.
