Share

Santa Fe Southern Pacific Corp. agreed to give the Denver & Rio Grande Western Railroad Co. rail access to some of the tracks of the Santa Fe and Southern Pacific railroads, whose merger has been blocked by the Interstate Commerce Commission. As part of the agreement, the DRGW will file a petition with the ICC supporting the railroad merger and urging the commission to reopen the case. The parent companies of the two railroads merged in 1983.
