Morse’s article brings back memories of what I observed while growing up in the Prohibition era.
Were I a big-time drug dealer, I’d be jumping with joy over our governmental antics just as the old-time bootleggers rejoiced in (and greatly profited from) Prohibition.
As any number of observers have said, explaining the obvious is one of the hardest jobs anyone can take on, especially when wishful thinking is involved as is the case today with respect to drugs.
