The Library of Congress announced it will begin printing Playboy magazine in Braille again starting in January. U.S. District Judge Thomas F. Hogan ordered the library to resume production and distribution in 1987 of Playboy editions in Braille, which contain articles and columns but no cartoons or photographs. The federal judge ruled on Aug. 29 that Librarian of Congress Daniel J. Boorstin violated the First Amendment when he stopped publication last year of Playboy Braille editions in a cost-cutting move.
