Arcadia : Teacher Pay Increased 7%

The Arcadia Unified School District Board of Education has approved a 7% salary increase for teachers in accordance with its contract with the Arcadia Teachers Assn.
The increase would have been automatic if the district had received a 6% increase in general-fund income, but since the increase was only 4.6%, board action was required under terms of the contract.
