A nurse accused of injecting six patients with fatal doses of potassium chloride was acquitted of murder charges in Albany, Ga. However, she was found guilty but mentally ill on one count of aggravated assault. Terri Rachals, 25, slumped in her chair and wept after the jury delivered not guilty verdicts on six murder charges and 19 counts of aggravated assault. Rachals, who was described by her lawyer as being mentally ill, was convicted of aggravated assault on one elderly patient and could face up to 20 years in prison. Sentencing was set for next week.
