San Diego Hotel’s Structure Advanced
The final piece of structural steel for the $90-million Hotel Inter-Continental’s 25-story south tower in San Diego has been hoisted into place, moving the hostelry one step closer to its scheduled December, 1987 opening.
The south tower, with 683 rooms, was designed by Welton Becket Associates of Los Angeles and is located between the Seaport Village shopping center and the San Diego Convention Center site.
