North County : Poll Finds Big Hurdle in Adult Education Is Time
No time for school. That’s the biggest roadblock for working adults who want to continue their education, a survey by the North Orange County Community College District has shown.
Results from the survey, which asked 348 adults questions about their life styles, will be used by the district to determine how it can better make courses fit the needs of adult students.
Administered by Cypress and Fullerton College psychology students, the survey asked questions about how adults spend their time and what their employers’ attitude is toward continuing education.
