Cointel accused a supplier of fraud and conspiracy.
Calabasas-based Cointel, a distributor of private pay telephones, filed a federal court suit claiming that its former supplier, Seiscor Technologies, conspired with another pay-telephone distributor to sell Cointel defective equipment. The $95-million suit also alleged that Seiscor violated an exclusive marketing agreement by selling phones to the competing distributor, Advanced Telecommunications & Manufacturing of Smithtown, N.Y.
