Union leaders for workers of defunct Frontier Airlines accepted the conditions of a job offer for about 4,000 of their members from former rival Continental Airlines. Frontier workers are expected to vote on the offer following meetings today and Friday with Continental executives and union leaders. Meanwhile, the Department of Transportation gave final approval to Continental’s parent, Texas Air Corp., to take over Eastern Airlines, and the Justice Department said it would not object to Texas Air’s plans to buy People Express Inc., which owns Frontier.
