Latin Ozone Concern Told

BUENOS AIRES —
An expanding hole in the earth’s ozone layer, discovered in 1979 over Antarctica, could let cancer-causing radiation penetrate to southern Argentina, the head of the National Meteorological Service said Friday. “The hole is constantly widening,” the official, Salvador Alaimo, said.
