Man Jailed in Yugoslavia for Refusing Army Service

BELGRADE —
A member of the Jehovah’s Witnesses religious sect was jailed for five years here Friday for refusing to serve in the army, legal sources said.
Ivan Cecko, 30, told a military court that he could not violate his beliefs and become a soldier, his lawyer said.
