An Oregon woman’s bid to be recognized as Rock Hudson’s heir has been rejected by Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Julius Leethan, who ruled that the state probate code blocks Alice Scherer Waier of Grants Pass from contesting the late actor’s will. Waier contended that she was Hudson’s adoptive sister and was unfairly excluded from the actor’s will because Hudson’s associates isolated him from her.
