CALIFORNIA - News from Oct. 8, 1986

Oakland-based Kaiser Aluminum & Chemical Corp. has named Howard M. Nelson president of Kaiser Chemicals, the firm’s industrial and specialty chemicals business. Nelson will continue as senior vice president of Kaiser Aluminum & Chemical and will continue to assist the management of the the firm’s oil and gas subsidiary, Kaiser Energy Inc. However, Nelson will work out of the chemicals business headquarters in Cleveland.
