Titan Corp.’s Titan Systems Inc. was one of 18 companies to receive a top Department of Defense award for companies that maintain “exceptionally effective security programs.” Titan’s Severe Environment Systems Co. has won a $3.75-million contract to supply core memory systems for the Air Force’s F-16 aircraft. Also, Titan Corp. has completed the previously announced acquisition of Meteor Communications Corp., a high-technology company based in Kent, Wash., that reported more than $10 million in revenues during fiscal 1985.
