The Dodgers will raise ticket prices next season, for only the fifth time in 30 years, the team said Friday.
Box seats will be $7, reserved seats $6 and general admission $4--a $1 increase from 1986 prices. General admission tickets for children 12 and under will remain $2.
The Dodgers released relief pitcher Carlos Diaz. The left-hander was acquired along with infielder Bob Bailor from the New York Mets for pitcher Sid Fernandez three years ago. He had a record of 0-0 and a 4.26 earned-run average in 19 games this year.
He spent part of the season on the disabled list and at Albuquerque of the Pacific Coast League, where he was 1-4 with a 5.64 ERA.
