65 Cattle Rustlers Slain, Uganda Reports

KAMPALA, Uganda —
Troops have killed 65 cattle rustlers in northeastern Uganda over the last few weeks, a government statement said Saturday.
Kampala newspapers have reported that the rustlers, many of whom have automatic weapons, have stolen 30,000 head of cattle and forced about 100,000 people to move into the area around the town of Soroti.
