Las Vegas Defeats UCI Men in Soccer

Five players scored a goal each as Nevada Las Vegas defeated UC Irvine, 5-1, Sunday in a Pacific Coast Athletic Assn. men’s soccer game at Irvine.

Jeff Whale, Shawn Ritchie and Rick Ryerson scored in the first half for the Rebels (3-2, 8-6-4). Teammates Sal Carbone and Jeff Enquist scored in the second half.

Don Edwards scored with less than five minutes left for the Anteaters (1-4, 6-13).
