The world’s largest oil company said it plans to sell the Manhattan office tower before year-end. Exxon and Rockefeller Group each own 50% of the 53-story office building, located between 49th and 50th streets on the Avenue of the Americas, which real estate analysts value at between $575 million and $700 million. Neither Exxon nor Rockefeller Group would disclose the original cost of the building. Real estate sources said several Japanese buyers are among the bidders.
