James Williams Named to Interim Cetec Gauss Post

Mort Fujii, president and general manager of Cetec Gauss of Sun Valley, has left the company to join Shape Inc. of Biddeford, Me., a maker of plastic molds. He will be president of Shape International, a marketing unit.

James R. Williams, formerly assistant general manager, was named general manager and is serving as acting president pending the selection of a permanent replacement for Fujii.

Cetec Gauss manufactures audiotape duplicating equipment and loudspeakers used in recording studios and concert halls. It is a unit of El Monte-based Cetec Corp., which has divisions that make plastic injection molds, autopilot systems for boats and computer software.
