Domestic auto sales by the Big Three U.S. car makers remained slow without incentives, dipping sharply in late October from last year but rising slightly for the month, the companies reported today.

Sales by General Motors, Ford and Chrysler slipped about 11.3% in the 10 selling days from Oct. 21 to Oct. 31. But their sales were up nearly 3.9% in October compared with October, 1985, boosted by cut-rate financing still being offered during the first 10 selling days.
