McDonald’s to Open Outlet in Yugoslavia
BELGRADE —
Yugoslavia will become the first socialist country to open a McDonald’s restaurant, the official Tanjug news agency reported.
It said the Yugoslav Genex firm signed a joint agreement with McDonald’s, the world’s largest fast-food company, to open two restaurants in Belgrade next September. Five more restaurants are being planned, one in the northern city of Novi Sad.
