Man Rigs Shotgun for Burglars, Is Wounded

HOUSTON —
A man whose home reportedly was burglarized at least 10 times in recent years was seriously wounded by an illegal booby-trapped shotgun he rigged for burglars, police said.
Julius Jackson, 48, who was shot in the lower left leg Thursday inside his home, was listed in serious condition Friday at Ben Taub Hospital.
