A Boulder newspaper reported Saturday that University of Colorado running back Anthony Weatherspoon, formerly of La Habra High School, is under investigation by the Boulder District Attorney office for his alleged role in a May 6 burglary on the Colorado campus.
The investigation involves the alleged burglary of a home computer, television and camera from a dormitory room in Hallett Hall, where Weatherspoon also resides. According to a Boulder Daily Camera report, Weatherspoon, 20, admitted to university police that he was present as the burglary took place, but he said he was not involved in the crime.
