The sentencing of convicted spy Ronald W. Pelton, former employee of the National Security Agency, has been delayed until next month to allow government investigators more time to question him. Pelton, 45, who was convicted last June of four counts of selling defense secrets to the Soviet Union, will be sentenced on Dec. 16, instead of Nov. 21, according to a joint statement by the prosecution and defense. U.S. Atty. Breckinridge L. Willcox and Fred Bennett, Pelton’s public defender, said the postponement was requested to help resolve “certain logistical problems.”
