WIESBADEN, West Germany —
Police tipped off by Israeli authorities through the international police organization Interpol said Tuesday they have arrested six men in connection with a dollar counterfeiting racket in West Berlin.
The suspects--Soviet emigres, Israelis and West Germans--were arrested Nov. 3 in West Berlin during a house-to-house search.
Police said they found 30,000 counterfeit $100 bills with a face value of $3 million, most of them packed in small bags and ready for distribution.
