Christian Group Says It Bombed Synagogue

BEIRUT — An unidentified telephone caller, saying he represented a Christian terrorist group known as Call of Jesus Christ, claimed responsiblity Wednesday for the bombing of the main synagogue in the Belgian port city of Antwerp.
The caller made the claim to a Western news agency late Tuesday, hours after the early morning attack in Antwerp.
The bombing damaged the main entrance hall of the empty synagogue, blew out several windows but caused no injuries. Windows in nearby buildings also were shattered.
