Chinese TV Spreading

PEKING —
China will have more than 170 million television sets by the end of this decade, more than three times the 1984 figure, the newspaper Economic Daily reported Friday. Commerce Ministry officials were quoted as saying that most urban families now own television sets and that households in many rural areas are also beginning to buy them.
