Norwalk : College President Finalists

Five finalists have been selected for the post of president of the 18,000-student Cerritos College by the Board of Trustees.

The finalists were chosen from a field of 32 applicants for the president’s position. President Wilford Michael has announced his retirement effective at the end of the year.

Finalists include the president of Seattle Central Community College, Ernest A. Martinez; president of Crafton Hills College of Yucaipa, Donald L. Singer; superintendent-president of Palo Verde Community College District of Blythe, Kirk Avery; president of College of Alameda, Donald R. Hongisto, and vice president of instruction of Broome Community College, Binghamton, N.Y., Robert C. Messina Jr.
