NRC Approves Restart of Ohio Nuclear Plant

WASHINGTON —
The Nuclear Regulatory Commission on Friday unanimously approved the restart of the Davis-Besse nuclear power plant in Ohio, closed for 15 months because of an equipment mishap.
State officials have vowed to fight the restart in court, saying evacuation plans for the plant may be inadequate.
