Rites Set for Jackson MacKellar of Times Advertising Department
Funeral services will be held for veteran Los Angeles Times employee Jackson MacKellar at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Forest Lawn in Glendale. He was 60.
MacKellar, an assistant supervisor-makeup coordinator in Orange County’s display advertising department, worked for The Times for 40 years. He died of cancer Wednesday.
Viewing at Forest Lawn in Cypress will be today from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Viewing at Forest Lawn Glendale will be tonight from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.; Sunday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Monday from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
MacKellar is survived by his mother, Hilda Bell, and stepfather, Roy Bell.
