In the early years of the 20th Century, the historian Henry Adams pointed out that one could disprove Charles Darwin’s belief in the progress of evolution by simply comparing President George Washington to President U.S. Grant. I wonder what Adams would say about Ronald Reagan.
Regarding President Reagan, the question can easily be posed: Is our President a fool or a knave? Personally, I doubt whether he has either the knowledge or the intelligence to be a knave.
