4 Britons Killed by Own Men in Falklands War

LONDON —
British marines fighting in the 1982 Falklands War with Argentina killed four of their own men when they fired at night on what they thought were enemy troops, the Defense Ministry said Tuesday.
The four died on the night of June 9-10, just before British troops ended the brief war by recapturing the Falkland Islands from an Argentine invasion force.
