Soviet Guards in Thefts

MOSCOW —
Soviet police hunting thieves who had been stealing wheels, batteries, headlights and radios from new cars arrested 14 men employed to guard the vehicles, the official newspaper Soviet Russia reported Saturday. It said all the men, including the chief of the guard unit, were sentenced to long terms in prison.
