Authorities in Fayetteville, N.C., were investigating whether two soldiers charged with killing a retired couple may have been acting out the fantasy game “Dungeons and Dragons.” Mark E. Thompson, 17, and Jeffrey C. Meyer, 20, both stationed at Ft. Bragg, were charged last week in the stabbing deaths of Paul Harvey Kutz, 68, and Jamie Lee Kutz, 63. When Military Police stopped the suspects’ truck on the Army base, the men were wearing black “Ninja” assassin suits that are part of the role-playing game.
