Japan’s largest domestic airline announced that the purchase of the A320-200 aircraft from Airbus Industries will amount to about $1 billion. The contract will cover the 20 aircraft, spare engines and parts, Nippon said, adding that it was making 10 firm orders and taking options on an additional 10 aircraft.
