A 28-year-old man has been arrested and accused of the execution-style killing of a couple whose Loomis home contained $1.5 million in cocaine and $50,000 in cash. Placer County Sheriff Donald Nunes said Kenneth Lee was arrested on two counts of murder as he returned to his Roseville apartment. Nunes said a semiautomatic Uzi in Lee’s vehicle was linked to the killings of Robert Riley, 45, and Claudia Plemmons, 35. Each had been shot in the back of the head on Dec. 3 or Dec. 4 and their eyes and mouths had been taped shut, authorities said. They are believed by authorities to have been involved in a cocaine distribution operation. Nunes said robbery and narcotics theft appeared to have been the motives for the killings. Detectives found cocaine estimated to be worth $1.5 million and $50,000 in cash in the home.
